none; slight yellow; did a very vigorous pour and it diminished quicly LACE: rings slide
quickly down side COLOR: REFLECTED- Beautiful Copper TRANSMITTED- mostly clear AROMA: caramel
malts w/ hint of skunk MOUTHFEEL: medium PALATE: slimey; sparkling carbonation (nice while
drinking; but too much for my stomach later) TASTE: Bittersweet at first w/ long bitter
aftertaste; something is off for me about the sweet. There is a tinny/metallic note that is
too much present. This is like if you blended Blue Moon / Heineken / Boddington’s
together. COMMENTS: Let this get to somewhere between fridge-temp and room-temp and it tastes
the best for me. It’s a good quality brew. Take care of the metallic taste and balance it
a bit more and it would be a great brew for me. It has a full character. Pretty smooth
once you get going. Watch out though 2 of them pack a decent punch. CONDITIONS:

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 23, 2006 A decent Oktoberfest with a kick to it. A deep copper color with a malty and hop aroma. For an Oktoberfest, this had too much hop, and that’s coming from a complete hop lover. It’s a good drinking beer, but needs more malt to be a better Oktoberfest. elektrogeist (158), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

Lacking that special something that makes a really good oktoberfest bier. Disappointing, but I guess I’ll drink it anyway. I’d rather have Ayinger’s about now.. PGA324 (85), Savage, Minnesota, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 19, 2006 I did not care for this beer. Had an after taste I could do without. Again, similar to the Redhook Late Harvest, I expected more from a seasonal. Poured copper, with decent head, average lacing.
