| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 1, 2006 Standard american style oktoberfest, featuring mostly crystal malt. Curious citrus aroma, but not seemimingly from hops, but perhaps of fermentation. Lemon and orange. Muddled amber color, smallish head. Clean caramelized flavor, somewhat earthy and leafy with the hops, small rising bitterness in the finish. SledgeJr (2961), Omaha, Nebraska, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 13, 2005 In the bottle. Pours orange-amber with a white head. Has a dough-like and fruity sweetness to the aroma. Medium body with a nice caramel malt toastiness combined with good bitterness. For a cheap Summitt beer, this was surprisingly competent. Sweetness probably prohibits this being consumed in Maß-sized portions. Is this really 7.7% ABV? Sure seems lighter than that!? Somebody please check the accuracy of this info listed above. csbosox (1081), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 2, 2005 Thanks to Heemer77 for this beer. 12oz bottle. Enjoy by Feb 01. Served in a lager glass, straight from the cellar, at ~49°. Copper color with a small off white head. Aroma is grassy?, noble hops and some mild caramel sweetness. The initial taste is mild caramel and honey with some almost citrusy sourness to it and some biscut fllavors. The finish is grassy with some sweetness and almost some sourness?. The mouthfeel is average. I don’t think I enjoy most Oktoberfest beers. Boesky (39), Galesburg, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 22, 2005 Pours a light amber, with a sweet, malty nose. Relatively true to style, with a rich caramel and honey-ish mouthfeel, but subdued hop presence. A little higher abv than typical, but well hid.
A decent Märzen/Oktoberfest style lager. 5000 (2409), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 5, 2005 Bottle: Translucent amber, orange biased, moderate off-white head, spotty lacing, soft carbonation.   Soft malt nose, subtle graininess, touch of sweet biscuit.   Sweet malt immediately up front, smooth, malty finish.   Fairly clean.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   As it warms a slight hop tinge appears at the finish.   Easy drinking, fairly sweet, malty Oktoberfest.   Thanks Eric!

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 31, 2005 On tap at Firkin’s, Libertyville, IL. Clear dark amber hued having a large diminishing white head with good lacing. Light spicy sweet malt aroma. Soft carbonation. Medium bodied that starts and finishes with hoppy, slight sweet malt flavor with hint of honey flavor. Similar to Paulaner Oktoberfest, but more flavorful. A good drinkable Oktoberfest beer. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 28, 2005 Summit oktoberfest is not a real filling beer. It has a sweeter taste that I would descride as reliable. I think that no matter when you have this beer it has a decent taste. I think that this beer would appeal to most beer drinkers. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 27, 2005 12 oz bottle. Very clear orange-copper, smallish quick-dissipating white head...malty, light toasted bread accented nose offers just a touch of woodiness for interest....alcohol is a bit too prominent in the body, which is somewhat fruity (cherry, baked apple) caramel-malty, with a weird sprig of mintiness towards the end...the high ABV seems to lead to a slight metallic touch at the finish, and a bit of syrupiness...not terrible, but a pass.
