Sampled at Famous Liquors Oktoberfest/Fall tasting in Lombard, IL.. Poured a fairly clear, amber/brown with some modest, off white foam and lacing. The nose was light toastiness and German malt. The flavor was similar, also noticing some light caramelly sweetness. Drinkable and standard fare.

Draft. Pours dark brown with a thin head. Nose of caramel. Caramel in the flavor, but rather one dimensional. I thought the beer was sort of boring.

Six pack from Majestic on Eastchase. Light orange color with not much head. Smells of spices, smooth but weak taste.

Enjoyed at the Minnesota State Fair, both via a draft 16 oz glass and a 12 oz bottle. Pour is a dark orange golden copper with an off white head. Aroma of caramel malt, grass and straw. Taste is pleasantly mild sweet caramel with a floral aftertaste. Palate is medium, with a dry finish. Medium carbonation and the grassy body made this quite drinkable. Nice one.

Pours good fall color. Sweet/spicy with clean finish. Lacks the fullness I look for in an Oktoberfest.

33 cl bottle, Winnipeg, MB, Canada via Fargo. Deep golden colour, pronounced carbonation. Caramel and lightly roasted malt aroma, mellow flavor of sweet stone fruit and nice burn on the finish. Very nice.

Pours a deep copper with small off white head. Sweet spicy malt aroma with notes of toffee and caramel. Powerful spicy malt taste; good hop bite, hints of caramel, smoke & alcohol. Long lingering hoppy aftertaste. Full mouthfeel. Great autumn Marzen. Packs a little punch with the relatively high ABV.
