Hoppy aroma and taste but laking on the malts. Not balanced like an Oktoberfest should be. MattShizzle (385), Bernville, Pennsylvania, USA

Strong, full malt flavor. Doesn’t taste like it’s over 7 % alcohol but you can tell it’s strong. thejoeshow (232), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA

Pours a clear golden/copper color with a generous off white head that falls to a nicely lacing ring. Nose is grainy and almost has a wet paint smell but not quite. Flavor is rich and almost creamy. Very tasty with hints of caramel malts a a hint of yeastiness to it. The body on this thing is perfect. Has a nice fullness to it without being too heavy. I love this beer. One of my favorite Oktoberfests!!! WisconsinBeer (534), St Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 14, 2008 12 oz bottle. My girlfriend (Tripplebrew) summed it up perfectly, Oktoberfest is on the shelves, but I’m still using the A/C in my car, and summer is nowhere near over yet. This should be a FALL beer! Anyway, I still LOVE IT. Pours an amberish yellow color. Flavor is bready caramelized malts. Medium bodied, somewhat sticky on the palate. Finish is mild lingering stickiness, just like Halloween candy! Can’t get enough of this stuff. Tripplebrew (503), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA

Well, the beer pours a clear amber/copper with thick cream-tinted head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is wheat and malts and earthy grass. It is a very clean bready/earth aroma. Flavor is bready, malts and notes of sweetness (caramel). Carbonation is fair and body medium-light. For the U.S. it is a decent oktoberfest version. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

Very lightly carbonated mouthfeel. noticable almond flavor. 1FastSTi (2590), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 7, 2008 Filtered yellow amber body with a foamy white head. The aroma is typical Oktoberfest with sweet and acetic malts, husks, clean crisp o-fest smells, and floral hops. The flavor is also very good with a nice sweet sugary malt, floral hops, caramel, o-fest yeasts and kettle corn. Very well done. Acetic, lightly drying, carbonated, and has a subtle hop linger. Very nice! This beer’s quite underrated. valpoaj (363), Valparaiso, Indiana, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 20, 2008 Pours light copper color with medium off-white head. Aroma is pretty weak, but light and pleasant, and consists primarily of sweet malts. Flavor is different than most other marzens...has the telltale sweet malt flavors, with some light chocolate accents mixed in, but there’s an odd bitterness mixed in that really doesn’t seem to jive well with the beer. The finish is relatively sweet, and there is a pretty nice body on the drink, but the odd bitterness took its toll...not my favorite from Summit
