Commercial Description:
Summit Grand is the first pilsener brewed by Summit Brewing Company. Developed by our Brewmaster Horace Cunningham, Summit Grand follows the tradition of Bohemian Style Pilseners. This style refers to the many great pilseners that originated in what is now known as the Czech Republic. Our Summit Grand is brewed with select malts and both domestic and imported hops. Golden in color, with just the right amount of body, Summit Grand is truly the perfect beer for any occasion.

Pours a copper color with about a finger and half worth of head. Very nice aroma, hard to explain. Not too much a fan of the pilsner style but it is one of the better ones i’ve had.

A good pilsner, but not worth the cost. Sure it is nice but with the other Summits availible I cannot foresee picking this one up again. Its simple and tasty with a nice mellow flavour. If you are a pilsner fan this is a must try, otherwise try one of Summit’s better brews.

Also not a big fan of Pilsners but compared to Pilsner Urquell or however that crap is spelled this is much better. Not much too it. Tiny aroma of fruity hops. Not much in way of flavor. I.E,didn’t offend. It was wet, slightly crisp and went down in a couple minutes. Good "lawn mower" beer.

Not a big fan of Pilsener, but I had three at a poker game. Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a pint-like glass. Came out light golden with a medium white head. Very little smell, just a note of citrus and hops. The taste was thin as I would expect from this type of beer, but it was drinkable. Notes of citrus with a slightly bitter finish. I detected a lemony taste, but only after I had some pizza. Not bad, but it won’t be a regular with me.

Pours a light gold with an inch of frothy white head. Good lacing and solid head retention throughout the glass. Mild but noticeably spicy hops in the aroma. I get a huge toasted cereal malt flavor that is fairly sweet. It is drier in the finish, though still with a lot of toasted cereal and a bit of floral hop tanginess. Medium body, moderate carbonation, and fairly smooth.

Nice pour with white head, nose of yeast and malt. Flavor is sweet malt with just a hint of hops. Ok I guess, just not a big fan of Bohemian Pilseners.

Bottle. Light golden and clear. Not nearly hoppy enough for a bohemian pilsner. Somewhat sweet. Slight off flavor (unrecognizable), too.

Deep golden body, with a relatively thin, white head. Minimal lacing. Yeasty, malty aroma. Flavor is fairly well balanced between malts and hops. Finish is pretty clean, but there is a little hop bitterness that lingers for a while. Carbonation is fitting for this style, and the overall mouthfeel is very smooth. Extremely drinkable. I’ll have another!
