Cereal and grapefruit dominated in my nose. Body was light to medium with a watery texture and soft carbonation. I tasted grain, a light citrus hop and a slightly sweet malt overtone. This is pretty good pilsner, this coming from an IPA hound dog. OldMrCrow (1200), Seattle, Washington, USA

Pours a light yellow with a nice white head; the aroma is characteristic for the style. The flavor is reasonably, with a bit of grain and maybe a slight hint of skunk. Like the IPA, a reasonable but not overly impressive offering.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 4, 2005 12oz bottle pours golden with a short white fluffy head. Aroma is grains and saaz hops. Flavor is nice grains and a little caramel malt. Crisp finish from the hops. Palate is very crisp and clean and fits the style well. This one was pretty tasty actually. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 5, 2005 Slightly yellowish golden pilsener, well carbonated to fluffy white, consistent head. Initially very grassy nose, pale malts, warm-sweetish aromas. Dry, very metallic/walnut - bitter pils. Bitterness completely obfuscates the restsweetness of the malt, and becomes more and more clearly hoppy with time. Some fruitiness in the back, as from fresh figs. Nice hoppy finish going over in long bitterish aftertaste, less sharp than in the beginning. Not bad, but I haven’t had a single pils in Czechia sporting such sharp bitterness. Overshooting its (obvious) target, but not without merits. Thanks, David. CharlesDarwin (1849), Point Judith, Rhode Island, USA

Just the right amount of carbonation and spiciness and the right golden color of a pilsner. This is an excellent example of the style. CaptainCougar (5523), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 11, 2005 Pours a clear pale golden with a thin, lightly-lacing white head. Has a very mild, lightly noble hoppy aroma with a touch of citrus. Body starts with a hint of sweetness, turning more bland and bitter toward the dry finish. Not much going on here, but still shows some subtle pilsner flavors.
