Commercial Description:
Summit Grand is the first pilsener brewed by Summit Brewing Company. Developed by our Brewmaster Horace Cunningham, Summit Grand follows the tradition of Bohemian Style Pilseners. This style refers to the many great pilseners that originated in what is now known as the Czech Republic. Our Summit Grand is brewed with select malts and both domestic and imported hops. Golden in color, with just the right amount of body, Summit Grand is truly the perfect beer for any occasion.

Bottle, pours a clear medium gold with a one to two finger white head that collapses, some effervescence, left a little lacing on the sides of the glass, aroma of bread, malt, grassy hops, some malt sweetness, flavor of malt, some hop bitterness, citrus like bite on the palate at the finish, finish is quick, a nice drink, with a little more malt flavor this beer would be closer to being a winner.

Aroma is of grains and malt. Very light -- golden light -- with little hops. Flavor is very light with elements of caramel malt and light hops. Seems like a decent pilsener and is very refreshing. A fascinating champagne-esque bubble display.

12 oz bottle: Aroma has a grainy slightly malt note with some light hops coming up in the back. Appearance is quite good a clear golden color with a thick white head that lingers around for quite a while. Taste has got a nice lager twang to it , smooth, clean with a bit of malt and hops that are somewhat distinguishable. Palate is clean with not much of an aftertaste. Overall, am easy squeezy drinking Pils. Pretty good. Cheers!

Pours a very crystal clear golden color with high carbonation and a small white head. Aroma has a strong presence of Saaz or Hallertauer, spicy and grassy with some grainy pilsner malt notes. Flavor is a very crisp grainy note with a hops note showing up in the middle and carrying it to the finish. Feel of the beer is great with the high carbonation. Overall a good brew and definitely can be drank in all situations.

This pilsener is very good, but has qualities all over the map. Very nice appearance, but aroma is merely average. Its flavor duration is short lived at best.

12 oz bottle-pours a white head and yellow color. Aroma is grain, Euroskunk, musty, lime/spice hops. Taste is grain, musty/cardboard, spice/herbal hops. Lots of carbonation in the back of the throat. As it warms, some sweetness/honey comes through and cardboard eases. Thanks to Joe-jwc215 for picking this out.

Bottle. Medium hop bitterness with a light body and a crisp finish. Similar to the Pale Ale but with a lighter body. Decent brew.

12oz bottle. Pale, filtered orange-yellow. Minimal thin head. Dry, sugary aroma with some Saazy hop character. Pretty balanced and smooth, with some quality Pils character. Not overly thin or watery, this is a good example of the style. Not quite world class, but a great session beer any day. Some yeasty Lager nuances, washed in a Saaz bath.
