Flavor is grassy with nice carbonation. Mouthfeel is a little thin, but very forgivable for the style. Nice brew overall. hillfiiiiire (286), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 8, 2008 Pours a decent head. Aroma is grassy. Flavor follows through with a grassiness. A very drinkable beer. Nothing bad, but unremarkable. matta (1139), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 21, 2008 Poured a nice golden body and a tall fluffy white head. The aroma brings a bouquet of fresh white bread, accompanied by grassy, lemon peel zestyness. The grassy bitterness controls the flavor, a hint of sourdough bread. Nice texture in the mouth, making this a very drinkable and well constructed session Pilsner… not complex, but also never lackluster at any point. clueo (112), Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Jan 1, 2008 Light what color with a wheat smell and taste. A very drinkable pilsner which is a bit on the lighter side. Pours with big white bubbly head, which drops fairly quickly to nothing. Crystal clear pale gold in color with obvious carbonation. Aroma is very light, the only thing I am able to pick out is a slight flowery hop aroma with a tad of maltiness in the background and otherwise clean. Flavor is a grainy corn (DMS?) with a ever so slight malt sweetness, Prominent is the hops in flavor and in bitterness that lingers into the aftertaste. Balance is slanted towards the bitterness and finishes fairly dry. Medium body, heavier than you would expect with definite prickliness on the tongue which compliments the drying bitterness. Very easy to drink and refreshing. Personal preference would be for more malt character in both aroma and flavor. WallyWalrus (205), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 8, 2007 12oz bottle. Pours a clear straw/golden color with little head or carbonation. Aroma is light and earthy, with a scent of grains alongside light hints of yeast and hops. Taste is creamy and fairly full for the style, with a light taste of grains and malt and a somewhat bitter finish. Light and unremarkable, but not objectionable. Elizavyeta (110), Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 8, 2007 Somewhat unremarkable in its appearance (light gold with an ever-pervasive head), with little aroma.
The flavor itself is somewhat one-sided (like that of wheat and possibly a light flower honey), with a long, earthy finish.
Would be fantastic as a summer beer to beat the heat. Hammster (187), Eagan, Minnesota, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 12, 2007 Bottle. Poured pretty dark for a pils with a small white head. Aroma is faint grains and malt. Taste is smooth although I would agree with the previous rater that there is a bitter bubble-gum finish. Not bad but nothing to write home about either.
