Dec 9, 2009 On tap @ 1702 - Pours a clear golden color with a thin white head. Light lacing. Aroma is floral and citrus hops. Flavor is sweet floral hops with a touch of toasted malt. Bitterness lingers in the finish. Medium body. A good beer.

Nov 18, 2009 Really solid brew and highly drinkable (dangerous) for the style. 14 karat color with a frothy ivory head that left spotty lacing on the inside of the glass. Aroma is lemongrass, citrus pith, and ponderosa. Flavor is dominated by orange peel and tangerine zest, accompanied by a subtle caramel sweetness that accentuates rather than distracts. Medium to light body with ample carbonation. Bottoms up!!!

Nov 9, 2009 11/5/09. growler shared by bocky... i wish someone would have told me this was 8.2% before i went and drank the bottom half of the growler!
vibrant coppery-brown/bronze-y orange with a thin off white head which dumps a bunch of spots of lace onto the wine glass.
i can smell all kinds of hops before it even gets to the ol’ sniffer... loads of pithy citrus (orange especially), grapefruit, pine and spice with some caramel maltiness to finish it off.
the flavor is fairly straight forward and shares the same characteristics of the aroma... enough malty sweetness to balance out the assault of hops! it is mildly sweet (though not overdone) up front with a balance of bitterness and a spicy dry finish. ashiness joins the party but shows up late in the aftertaste.
the body is medium though a bit thin for style (typically)... which i really enjoy as it is kept from sticky... terribly easy to put away. 8/3/7/4/15/3.7

Nov 8, 2009 Growler at Atlas courtesy of bockyhorsey -- thanks, Bill! Pours a bright orange color with mild carbonation and a trim white head that leaves plenty of lacing. Smells of underripe orange zest from across the table. Tastes of bitter orange rind, chewy caramel, and plenty of hops. This beer certainly has some bite.

Nov 6, 2009 Cask/Draft. Both the cask and draft had a good floral aroma to it. Cask had this creamy white head that seemmed to have some vanilla texture to it. Good lacing left on glass and head stayed with brew till finish. Flavor the cask was mellow with some dry citrus vine and chewy. Almost like chewing that last slice of fruit from the peel. Draft was little lighter and more bitter. Both good.
