pinkzambia (986), Boise, Idaho, USA Apr 22, 2007 Tap at brewpub: Clear dark brown color with sweet, nutty malt flavors. You can also pick up some woody notes with cherries resonating through the aftertatste. Not bad. BuckeyeBoy (1635), Boise, Idaho, USA Apr 20, 2007 On tap at brewpub. Pours out a very nice amber. Topped with a nice little tan head. Very tasty. Would have to say this would be #2 on the Sun Valley list after the Porter. IndianaRed (1553), Boise, Idaho, USA Sep 5, 2006 Updated: Apr 22, 2007Bottle pours a clear light amber with a small light tan head and traces of lacing. Slight roatsed malts, low hoppiness aroma. Flavor was very mild and pretty pale for the style. Moderate bodd and feel and a clean finish. Fairly lively carbonation. Thanks Jordan cbkschubert (1945), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA Aug 20, 2006 via trade with Buck Dich - Pours a deep amber color with a small off white head. Has a toasty caramel malt aroma. Has a toasty, spicey malt flavor. Flavor is smooth with no lingering aftertaste. Medium body. Very good beer. Thanks Jordan. BückDich (4777), McCall, Idaho, USA Jun 20, 2004 Clear amber ruby color with some light sticky head, no lacing. The aroma is lightly sweet, peppery. Notes of raspberry & caramel. The flavor has hints of some roast & chocolate. This doesn’t have much of a lager quality to it. Moderately hopped marzen. Good!
