2/7/09 from the bottle. Aroma is very malty, with tons of caramel, light bready roast and no discernable hop character. Appearance is clear copper with a well maintained white head and good lacing. Flavor is munich malt dominant with supporting caramel sweetness, faint sourness and moderate bittering without any flora. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, creamy, with a low carb texture. Overall, a yummy brown ale with a great blend of malt characteristics; not sure if I had a different brew from these guys, but it definitely wasn’t an IPA.

Tangy, tropical grapefruit nose with a big fluffy white cloud of foam. Comes across very sour and imbalanced on the palate and I believe this might be infected. Will have to try again in the future at a later date.

Pours copper brown with a thin off white head. Smells citrussy with some resiny hints and touches of earth. Tastes of pine, spice, touches of bitterness. Mouthfeel is spicy. Finish yields some mild bitterness.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with jake65 (thanks!). Poured a medium and clear copper / orange color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, spruce, and floral. Tastes of citrus and light caramel.

Bottle: Clear copper pour with a small, creamy white head. Nose is citrus and piney hops. Tastes a bit soft with more maltiness than hops. Hint of grapes? Finished a bit chalky.

Tap at brewpub: Clear gold with a white head. Hoppy aroma abounds, but only a mild hop flavor. The aroma is actually more enjoyable than the tastes. The only thing that saves it is the lingering hop taste in the aftertaste.

On tap at brewpub. Pours out a nice amber. Topped with a great off white head. A very nice aroma of hops with citrus. A nice hop tast. very good IPA.

On Tap at the brewpub. Quite clear light amber with nice creamy head. Long lasting sticky lacing. Lots of citrusy Simcoe-ish aroma. Flavor was a bit dissapointing though. Papery and bitter with not much flavor. Fairly light and dry. Not bad
