| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 20, 2004 Golden blond color with some fizzy light head & some lacing. The aroma is well hopped with some piney PNW qualities. The flavor is dominantly hoppy with some good citrus & balanced malty finish. Tail is well rounded with light sweetness. Good clean IPA without that puckering dryness I expected from the initial hop impression. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 1, 2004 Golden pour, spotty lacing and a small head. Floral hops, some citrus, doughy and malty aromas. Nice and smooth floral and citrus hop characteristics. Medium body, spice filled palate and a pleasing finish with hops and alcohol. None too bad. jake65 (1725), Williston, North Dakota, USA

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jan 20, 2007 NorCal tasting Jan 07 - Third of the 4 Sun Valley beers that were brought back by one of the tasters. The aroma on the beer had some oxidation on it, wet cardboard and the like, so it was rather off-putting for me. Appearance was really light for an IPA, golden in color with a white head. The flavor was really metallic. Reminded me and another taster of having blood in your mouth, that sort of iron metallic taste. Probably my least favorite beer so far from Sun Valley. Long lasting sticky lacing. Lots of citrusy Simcoe-ish aroma. Flavor was a bit dissapointing though. Papery and bitter with not much flavor. Fairly light and dry. Not bad
