Aroma is very malty, with tons of caramel, light bready roast and no discernable hop character. Appearance is clear copper with a well maintained white head and good lacing. Flavor is munich malt dominant with supporting caramel sweetness, faint sourness and moderate bittering without any flora. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, creamy, with a low carb texture. Overall, a yummy brown ale with a great blend of malt characteristics; not sure if I had a different brew from these guys, but it definitely wasn’t an IPA. BuckeyeBoy (1689), Boise, Idaho, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 20, 2004 Golden blond color with some fizzy light head & some lacing. The aroma is well hopped with some piney PNW qualities. The flavor is dominantly hoppy with some good citrus & balanced malty finish. Tail is well rounded with light sweetness. Good clean IPA without that puckering dryness I expected from the initial hop impression. IndianaRed (1562), Boise, Idaho, USA

Long lasting sticky lacing. Lots of citrusy Simcoe-ish aroma. Flavor was a bit dissapointing though. Papery and bitter with not much flavor. Fairly light and dry. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 1, 2004 Golden pour, spotty lacing and a small head. Floral hops, some citrus, doughy and malty aromas. Nice and smooth floral and citrus hop characteristics. Medium body, spice filled palate and a pleasing finish with hops and alcohol. None too bad. pinkzambia (989), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 22, 2007 Tap at brewpub: Clear gold with a white head. Hoppy aroma abounds, but only a mild hop flavor. The aroma is actually more enjoyable than the tastes. The only thing that saves it is the lingering hop taste in the aftertaste. jake65 (1725), Williston, North Dakota, USA
