Aug 13, 2008 [1544-20080720] Bottle. Low apple wood and spices aroma. Clear, pale yellow body with no head. Sweet apples in the flavour have a hint of ginger and allspice, more "core" and skins than juicy bits. Light-medium body. Pleasant.

Jul 27, 2008 2008-07-21. Crisp yellow body. Spicey aroma is not quite what I expected, the most noticeable to me is clove, with other spices like cinnamon less prominent. Sweetish aroma, light spice in the flavour it comes off as a bit watery at times, but smooth. Lingering flavours of apples and apple cores in the finish and aftertaste. Pretty decent, but I think that whether or not you appreciate the spice profile on this will dictate your overall impression. Winery suggests serving it warm as an alternative, which I can see being potentially rather nice. Sampled at the winery.
