The best thing I can say about this beer is that it didn’t smell as bad as it tasted. Maybe that’s because it wasn’t too long out of the fridge, or maybe because the brewers knew a good trick that would get people to actually drink it. On tasting there is plenty of corn, and the alcohol seems magnified. Tastes sweet, but not as sweet as its syrupy texture would have you think. Whilst not the worst beer out there, the world would still be a better place without it.

(Sample at September 12, 2008 Beer Club Meeting) First thing I hear from the club members (before I even have a chance to sample this) is "smells like feet". No, that’s not going to affect my rating at all. This one is even more clear than the other Latin American lagers I’ve sampled. Nice head, though. Kudos on that. It has a grainy aroma. In a strange way, I’m kinda drawn to this and I’m not sure why.

Sweet pale malt with a low hop profile, slightly skunky. Not bad but not worth the premium price.

(12oz bottle) Medium white head atop lightly hazed pale straw body. Aroma is mild, medium sweet, light grain. Taste is medium sweet, corn, some grain, no bitterness. Light body.

Brighter yellow pour with half a glass of bleach white foam that recedes from the walls of the glass and forms an island in the middle. Bubbles are random and suspended. Aroma is sweet and malty. The flavor starts off balanced and ends a little sweet and sugary. Mouthfeel is near runny.

12oz bottle, courtesy of argo0. Thanks, Aaron Pours a clear, light golden color thin white head with patchy lacing. Light, slightly watery aroma, with some sugar, corn, and light white grape notes not bad, actually. Light-to-medium mouthfeel: solid amounts of basic sugar, corn, and basic white grape / floral notes not bad, actually, but slightly undercarbonated overall really not terrible. Medium finish: slightly skunky, stale malts, and basic sugars.
