Jun 4, 2009 Draft at Stub & Herb’s. Pours a slightly hazy orange-amber body with off-white head. Nice aroma of a variety of floral and grapefruit hops, pine, and caramel malts. Flavor is similar with more of the grapefruit hops coming out. Very well-balanced with malts to keep the hops in check. Smooth mouthfeel with a bitter citrus and pine finish.

May 30, 2009 Growler. Thanks, Yonkers! Pours hazy amber with an off-white ring of foam. Sweet pine, grapefruit and resin aroma. Sweet taste of pine and oranges. This stuff is like drinking fresh hops.

May 29, 2009 On tap at Stub & Herb’s. Pours clear orange amber with a nice off-white head. Huge hop aroma, funky pine and floral, with some grapefruit. Taste is balanced with caramel malt. Smooth with a nice bitter citrus hop finish.

May 28, 2009 Draught at the Grumpy Bulldog in Naperville. Dark copper orange amner with a thin creamy off-white head that leaves a ton of lacing all down the glass in big swathes. Aroma is very piney and resimous. Flavor floral and piney hops with a deep rich dank body. Bitterness is potent but not extreme. If this had just a bit more vibrant hops it would be amazing. Full creamy mouth feel.

May 22, 2009 Draft @ Bavarian Lodge 4/30/09-Pours an orangish amber with a small off white head. Aroma of hops and citrus. Flavor the same with some malt, caramel, and some bitterness. This medium bodied brew was a great tasting beer and well balanced.

May 18, 2009 Hand bottle shared by iowaherkeye and firmbuttstone. Poured a hazy dark orange color. The head was off white with an orange tint. Attractive aroma of citrus, pine, caramel, orange marmalade, and mango. medium bodied and slightly sweet with moderate bitterness. Lots of fruit juice/orange marmalade in the flavor with subdued caramel and alcohol notes. Delicious.

May 9, 2009 Woah. On tap at the Bavarian Lodge. Golden orange with nice thick white head. Big, sweet, hoppy aroma. Flavor is a bit on the sweet side, with a ton of citrus, balanced by a huge amount of hops. Bitter, flavorful, delicious hops. Some alcohol and honey in the finish. Creamy, thick mouthfeel. Totally awesome bad ass brew.
