This is a very nice, easy drinking brown ale that’s on par with some of the best I’ve tasted in it’s category. Can looks like an energy drink, so you can walk down the street or drive down the highway and nobody would commit to looking twice. Except maybe in Minnesota. KnutAlbert (3217), Oslo, Norway

I found this beer to be rather good, but I didn’t find it to be spectacular.
It pours a dark brown with striking blood red hues as light dances through it. Bender has a somewhat scarce but pleasing light tan head composed of inconsistently sized bubbles. Aroma is a pleasing but understated caramel and toffee smell with some alcohol esters. Flavor is pleasingly sweet and roasty, but with a bit of a watery mouthfeel which seemed to get stickier as I drained my glass (and as it got a bit warmer).
Quite good. bp (470), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

This is a really nice brown. Probably one of the better ones I’ve had. DirtyMartini (194), Los Angeles, Alabama, USA

It does defy traditional categories as this beer reminds me of a delicious brown ale first, and yet the belgium malts come through along with what hints as a stout. Light sweetness, medium body, lively, medium length clean finish. Great all around. Very drinkable. Served cold. iowaherkeye (1876), Los Angeles, California, USA

Pours a clear orange brown with a 1/2 finger beige head. Toasted grain, sweet caramel and vanilla are up front. Hints of chocolate and light roasted malts in the background. Flavor adds light grassy hops and a little more roasted malts. Finish is semi-dry with some roasty malts. Minimal bitterness. Light to moderate carbonation with a smooth medium body. A great brown ale--hooray for the Futurama reference. jimmyh221 (157), Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, USA
