Jul 8, 2009 Noogfest High 5. Sample from a can thanks to unclejedi. Solid copper-orange thin white head. Aroma is big herbal bitter, nice hoppiness, awesome aroma, the taste disappoints, just kind watery, some caramel, spicy pine hop finish.

Jul 2, 2009 Very, very good beer. A bit hoppy for the style, but it’s good hoppiness. Pours a nice orange-gold, with a medium, creamy head. Aroma is quite citrusy and piney, then some floral notes emerge and a pleasant malt base shows through the hops. The flavor is maltier than the nose, nice and smooth, with some grassy and citrus hops in the finish. The palate is fairly full, with dense but very fine carbonation. This would be an exceptional session brew.

Jun 29, 2009 Tap. Poured light cloudy brown with an off-white head. Aroma was bitter with some grainy notes, perhaps oats and just a bit of sweet citrus. Flavor was a very nice balance of malts and hops as the flavor began malty but hops kicked in throughout. A nice beer.
