| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 9, 2009 Can. Pours a clear orangish-amber color with a white head. Aroma of bready malt, citrusy hops, and black tea. Flavor more of the same, with more American hop aroma/flavor than your typical English ESB. Nice citrus/tropical fruit notes. Medium palate with soft carbonation. Great for the style. LilBeerDoctor (1502), East Setauket, New York, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 4, 2009 Can: Golden orange with an off white head. Biscuity aroma with a crackery dryness and a mix of British and U.S. hop varieties. Very dry and muted flavor. Light crackery notes with just a kiss of husk. Some herbal hop bitterness. Simple, but very solid and sessionable. j12601 (1282), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 31, 2009 can at Ft Wayne tasting - Pours hazy orange-gold with a lingering white head. The aroma is mainly of citrus hops. Tastes moderately hoppy with citrus notes. There’s also an odd earthy character that I didn’t appreciate. It’s on the watery side and doesn’t have enough malt character. I love bitter beers, but this brew doesn’t do it for me. It’s uneven and lacking. If this can was typical, then I don’t get the high ratings for it. Rciesla (3645), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 31, 2009 PPRBSG09. Can. Pours a copper white body body with a floral spicy pepper hop character and a dry earthy bitterness. This sets out to do exactly what it wants, v.bitter. dmschefke (371), Eastpointe, Michigan, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 21, 2009 Can thanks to tytoanderso. Pours a murky orange with thick off-white head. Aroma somewhat weak, but pleasant of citrus hops and a sourness. Flavor matches pretty well, a nice refreshing beverage. markas101 (566), Fargo, North Dakota, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 19, 2009 50 cl can, Fargo, ND, USA. Faintly hazy amber colour, citrus yeast and pine aroma. Minimal carbonation lets the flavor through, most english style of bitter I’ve tried from an US brewer. Very nice.
