Poured a translucent brown color with a small, light tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, coffee, pine, toast, and some floral hops. Taste of caramel malts, some roasted coffee beans, vanilla, and tobacco, with a dry finish.

Can shared by hopdog. Pours a deeper brown with lots of ruby notes coming through and a medium creamy off white head that laced. Aroma of coffee (duh), vanilla, some hops peaking through, caramel, nuts and toasted malt. Flavor of coffee, toasted malt, nuts, tobacco and light hops.

tasting at the bluebird. just like it says - coffee beer. it tastes like an iced coffee with no creamer. good brew - just what i needed to pick me up.

This is the best smelling coffee beer I’ve ever laid upon my olfactory sense. Strong coffee flavor. Perfect aroma. Flavors are strong malts, coffee and a nice toast. Flavor is very good. This is a great brown ale. One of my favorites.

draft at maproom. i really liked this beer. one of the best brown ales out there. Just had this from a can. It is FUCKING A SWEET BEER! Awesome fresh ground coffee aroma, taste and feel to it. some chocolate, grahham crackers, vanilla, and roast. this is damn good.

Pint can via trade with Scoobydank. Pours a cloudy deep chestnut brown with a small cream white lacing head. Nose is of coffee, nuts, and malt. Nice mild coffee flavors, a strong nut flavor as well. Mouth is medium bodied and a little sticky. Very flavorful 5% beer! Reminds me a bit of the Nestea instant mix Grandma use to make, yum!

Samples from can and growler. Both similar and heavy on the coffee and seemed to have lost any nut or biscuit flavors. Some burnt toast makes this unenjoyable for me.
