Pours a cloudy deep chestnut brown with a small cream white lacing head. Nose is of coffee, nuts, and malt. Nice mild coffee flavors, a strong nut flavor as well. Mouth is medium bodied and a little sticky. Very flavorful 5% beer! Reminds me a bit of the Nestea instant mix Grandma use to make, yum! yobdoog (1436), Woodridge NY, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 27, 2009 Samples from can and growler. Both similar and heavy on the coffee and seemed to have lost any nut or biscuit flavors. Some burnt toast makes this unenjoyable for me. viciousg42 (46), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
