Commercial Description:
Oh great, a fizzy yellow beer in a can, that's just what the craft beer world needs! CynicAle melds Old World ingredients in a new school style. French malted barley, English oats and Belgian yeast create honey and black pepper flavors. Lively Slovenian hops provide the floral, apricot and peach notes. Toss your doubts away, toss one back and enjoy!

Poured on tap at Binny’s South Loop (Chicago, IL). Man, was this one for me. Poured a very lovely hazy orangish amber with a bright white thick head that sticks around beautifully and laces very well. Aromas are very nice, peachy and bubblegum notes mixed with some citrus and a decent floral bouquet. Taste is great: Initial is a touch spiced with a nice fruity mellowness - apricots, bubblegum, and a somber enjoyable malt profile that melds well with the citrusy hops. This brew was awesome, and a great experience on tap. Cheers!

7-24-08 can thanks to BeerZack
Semi cloudy, semi clear yellow orange with a decent head (thin and small but it has this orange tint to it). Smell is nice with a little lemony funk to it. Flavor is dry and grassy and clean. Nice presence and finish and the dryness is nice. Low carbonation but drinkable for sure. There is a touch of a tingly spice component that stays on the tongue after you finish.

Fuzzy white head over a mid-amber body. Deep lemony/wheat nose with sweaty notes. Tart flavor with a spritzy finish. Dark malts seem to add bitterness instead of the expected sweetness. Mediocre body. Tart finish. ABV apparent. Meh.

From an old notebook. Thanks to ElGaucho for bringing this to RAYBOY01’s Fais Do Do 2007.

Can from tyler, thanks for this one. Light orange in color, small head. Aroma is earthy, yeasty and spicey. Taste is kind of dry, but still earthy, spicey, and yeasty characteristics. Light in texture and easy to drink, pretty good saison overall. Thanks ty for sending this one my way.

What a great saison. From a can or not this is a great beer. Nice body, smoothness, richness and great spice character. Nice fruit essence and some moderate hops. Really good.

Draught at GABF 2008. Clear golden coloured with a medium sized white head. Fruity and spicy aroma of yeast with notes of rubber. Fruity flavour of spices, yeast and hops. Spicy finish.

They say there is no food that bacon can not enhance the flavor of. Thanks hellbilly! Pours golden with a decent head leaving a bit of lace around the edges. Smells like banana gum and hay. Medium nectar with good carbonation. Malty sweet with a bit of noticeable hop infusion for bitterness. The finish lingers. Not a fan.
