| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 31, 2009 16oz Can. Pours a clouded plain orange-golden, with a thin white head. Aroma is yeasty and hints at a peppery A’Chouffee strain. Some banana, plain bread, and edges of honey. Flavor makes me suspect even further that the yeast is a hot-run achouffe, but I could be run. First, a lot of clove, banana, and green peppercorn, over a subtle, soft yeasty plain pils malt. Ends with a really, really rich juicyfruit yeast character. Strong. Then some weird acerbic, astringent qualities that throw me off a little. The yeast flavors up front are fresh and real, but they get a little terse towards the backend. Besides the fact that I think they used not an entirely Saison-traditional yeast, this isn’t bad. Very drinkable and well-flavored. Hophead22 (1090), Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 26, 2009 16oz can. Gold pour with a decent white head. Fruity, peppery and a little bit funky. More pepper in the flavor with a bit of hops thrown in there, not my style, but ok though. CanIHave4Beers (883), Des Moines, Iowa, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 21, 2009 Pours a slight hazy blonde with a small tight head. The aroma is fruity and spicy with some peach and citrus. Flavor is good and spicy with some earthy hops and some citrus, overall it is quite dry. This is one of the more Americanized saisons I have had. Not that that makes it any less tasty, it’s just pretty gosh darned domesticated. drfabulous (1243), Columbia, Missouri, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 14, 2009 Bonus from Brad that pours a clear dark orange color. Spicey aroma and a bit of wild yeast, earthiness. Well carbonated adding some texture. Flavor is bordering on sour but not quite there, still muted and appropriate to the style. Finish is light toasted grain and corn. A touch of spice on the finish as well. Pretty nice and refreshing. MaltDawg (778), Richmond, Virginia, USA
