Commercial Description:
Oh great, a fizzy yellow beer in a can, that's just what the craft beer world needs! CynicAle melds Old World ingredients in a new school style. French malted barley, English oats and Belgian yeast create honey and black pepper flavors. Lively Slovenian hops provide the floral, apricot and peach notes. Toss your doubts away, toss one back and enjoy!

Can - Light copper pour with a big frothy white head. Smells lightly spiced, with a little yeast. It’s a bit sweet and wheaty--very pleasant. Taste is a little sour and peppery, with some light fruitiness. Finishes with some nice spice and hops, and is light in the mouth, with just a hint of syrup. Nice and refreshing.

Pours a crisp golden-straw color with a medium soapy head which fades rather quickly. Aroma is peppery hops, belgian yeast, some sweet honey notes, and apricot. Mouthfeel is very smooth with lower carbonation than I’m used to in a Saison and I actually kind of like it - it makes it very drinkable. Taste is honey, light toasted malts, light apricot, and some belgian yeast. Not revolutionary compared to other Saisons but executed very well and insanely drinkable!

Pours fizzy and yellow, but that’s not a bad thing. Smells of belgian yeast and a little spicy. Light on the palate. Light flavors of banana and a little spice. Finishes dry and crisp. Pretty good.

Pours a hazy light amber color with light haze and little white head. Aroma is ripe fruit and Belgian spice and light clove. Taste is a different story with light yeast funk, apricot and peach and some light honey and pepper. The brewer nails the description of their own beer, who would have thunk? Finish is clean but lacks a bit of complexity. If this beer had some brett in it, it would be stellar, but it’s still the best Saison out of a can I ever had.

Can courtesy (I’m guessing) of tytoanderso. Pours a light hazy orange with a thin white head. Light grain and hops, citrus and apricot. Medium bodied, light grain and malt. Very subtle. Light bitter finish with a hint of crisp grain.

16oz can shared by photomike. Lightly hazy gold color with a small head that dissipates completely rather quickly. The aroma has a good amount of yeasty fruitiness that seems more along the lines of an abbey yeast, but also has some pepper, tobacco, leafy hops, and some pale malty sweetness. The flavor is medium sweet with light malt, medium spicy hop flavor with lower bitterness, light fruitiness, and some yeasty spiciness in the back. Lower carbonation with a light body. A pretty unassuming Belgian ale that falls pretty short of a good saison, but remains pretty drinkable.

Saison in a can doesn’t seem right....poured form 16oz., hazy light golden in color, mild aroma. taste was a little fruity, but overall kind of bland. I have my doubts about this.

aroma is subtle peach, bready malts and a touch of yeast. some general spiciness begins to creep in. appearance is very hazy apricoti with wispy head. flavor is peppery with some yeast and good balance of strong breads and some hops with slightly vegetal note. ends bitter with coating mouthfeel, a bit messy.
