Sep 18, 2007 Can. A amber beer with a big tan head. The aroma is light caramel malt, pine, hops, so is the taste, almost harsh from the heavy hopping, but I´m a hophead, so ít´s ok. Medium body with a bitter, very dry hoppy finish. Maybe the best can beer I have ever had.

Sep 10, 2007 Rich red amber with a light tan head, relatively dense, thinning via popping largish bubbles. Grassy floral hops with a light fruity, toasty malty sweetness. Lively with a bit of chocolate? Full creamy mouth, average carbonation. Smooth. Big grassy peppery slightly piney hops. rich full sweet fruity malt. A touch of toast and caramel. Lingering floral to piney hop bitterness. Creamy, big ass hoppy beer.

Sep 10, 2007 Very strong IPA with some smooth malt sweetness, drinks easy. Smells and tastes like pine needles which can be overpowering to unexperienced beer drinkers. 4pack cans runs about $9 but worth trying.

Sep 9, 2007 Had it on tap at Surly Brewery! The beer has a copper color and it is intensely hoppy! The citrus hops are dominate in the bouquet of hops that they used. Was very drinkable considering the intensity of the hops!

Sep 3, 2007 Sampled at Chris o’s shindig: great grapefruit and pine hoppiness; somewhat thick, chewy and underattenuated, but quite bitter finish; lingering and overly sharp.

muddy amber, whispy beige head, huge sweet carmel malt and grapefruit aroma, big body, sweet malt flavor with lots of grapefruit character, sticky sweetness, long bitterness

pouring much clearer and with a bigger head and lots of drippy lace, otherwise still the nice sweet grapefruit and caramel beer, more earthy bitterness keeping it in balance, picking up some additional malt character like a touch of biscuit and vienna malts, a great drinking beer but the bitterness does tend to build up on the tongue

Aug 29, 2007 #3 and the last in the roommate is awesome and bought me surly tasting. 16oz can. Billowing, large beige head sits on a dark brown/red body. Aroma is a huge amount of hops, pine and citrus in origin, carmel, light roasted malt, pleasant light fruits, caramel, a little nutty. Flavor is a lot of pine hops, but with a pretty strong malt background, orange, and other light citrus fruit, some caramel, though the hops overpower everything else. Big bodied and creamy. Again very fresh and appealing,
