Indra (2023), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA Jul 9, 2007 16oz. can. Strong aroma of fresh, citric hops, some orange and flowers in conjunction with lighter notes of red apple fruitiness, pine, toasted malts and touches of fresh wood and earthiness. Clear medium red-copper color with a very fine but lasting head leaving wisps of lacing behind. Flavor is rather easily dominated by the suitably aggressive hop character, which brings flavors of tangerine, pineapple and herbs to go along with the massive bitterness, and blended towards the middle with a darkly honeyish, toasty malt character. Sprucy, leafy, tangy and again very solidly bittering at the finish. Finely effervescent and lightly resinous, oily and drying mouthfeel with a medium body. This stuff just makes with the hops, and fast. Thanks a bunch to theisti! jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jul 7, 2007 16oz can-pours a foamy light tan head and red/amber color. Aroma is citrus/pine hops, medium malt. Taste is citrus/pine hops –some bitterness, secondary medium malt-caramel/brown sugar but not quite balanced. Further in and with food balance is better. Hops are dry and some spicing comes out. OK carbonation.
