Commercial Description:
Like Hops? You'll like this fire-hued beer. This is the beer I have always dreamed of making. This is the beer that would come to mind while spending the last two years tearing down walls, hanging sheetrock, moving kegs, power washing the ceilings, arguing with various agencies, and cutting the water main. Without Golden Promise malt, made by family-owned Simpsons Malt, Furious would just be pissed offed. From Scotland, this malt is still produced in the tradition of turning over the barley by hand, resulting in a malt that is unsurpassed in its quality. Golden Promise is also used extensively by premium whisky distilleries such as The Macallan. This malt provides the backbone for the intense hop character. Four American hop varieties are used at a rate of over three pounds per barrel. The result is a rich malt sweetness infused with bright hop flavor and aroma from beginning to end. Oh yeah, it's about 6% alcohol and around 100 IBUs.

16 oz can. Nice notes of apricot, peaches and pine on the nose. Excellent head retention. Highly carbonated. Very clean crisp and dry on the palate. Nice amount of hops balanced nicely by a hit of maltiness. Excellent IPA.

Huge cloud of massive pine and citrus hop aroma, enormous proportions, I’m talking Dreadnaught enormity,it stays that big for a long time, you can detect some of that Scottish carmel malt, but this is all about the hops, all that hop aroma delivers what it promises when it comes to taste, full rich citrus and pine taste, and absolutely superb finishing bitterness, sweet caramel shows up in little pockets, just medium bodied enough not to be confused with an Imperial, all these flavors cease to fade, at the end the huge hop assault does dry the tongue. Absoutely stunning in all respects virtually the perfect IPA,and all this from A CAN. An absolute drop everything and go on a seek and find mission for any hophead

Firey, amber hued pour. Massive cascade hop aroma, like pine needles that have sat under rain for hours. Grapefruit and lemon in the flavor balance well with heavy, malty Scotch sweetness. This smacks with a flair of almond creme frosting. Finishes with a bite of spicy, crisp lemon pepper. A somewhat unusually heavy palate. Slick and dense, like a double without the ache of alcohol. Bitter, smooth hop comfort.

Pours opaque ruddy brown. Thin head and lots of lacing. Wonderful hoppy nose with pieapple and caramel. Great balance between hop and caramel malt in the flavor. Clean dry finish. The best canned beer I think I have ever had!

On tap at Durty Nellies in Palatine, IL. This marks the first time I ever went to a bar because I read on rate beer that a certain beer was on tap. I feel kind of like a beermo. The beer was awesome, though. Nice caramel malt with lots of awesome hops. Dry, bitter finish. Pretty awesome IPA.

can!...poured a dark amber-brown w/ half0inch off-white head and bubbly carbonation all around....aroma is all ruby red grapefruit and some malt....taste: a lot oh hops as expected. some grapefruit and a bunch of pine on the sides of the tongue which lingers for quite a bit. there is some malt like other raters have noted but they are def overpowered by the hops....overall, it was just a tad to piney for my liking.

Red body, creamy tan head, with real nice lacing. Immediate hop node. In fact, that is all I get, hops. The taste is an aggressive hop, a bitter astringent dry hop. This is a hop bomb IMHO, but nice after shoveling the drive way for the second time, all while working lots of snow over time. Thanks to BUCKYBEER!

Really enjoyable. Pour quite a dark amber color, almost brown. Head is creamy and light tan in color. Malty, caramel, toffee, lots of piney hops, bitter, citrus, and very well balanced. Slightly earthy and a nice creamy mouthfeel. Very good.
