Commercial Description:
Like Hops? You'll like this fire-hued beer. This is the beer I have always dreamed of making. This is the beer that would come to mind while spending the last two years tearing down walls, hanging sheetrock, moving kegs, power washing the ceilings, arguing with various agencies, and cutting the water main. Without Golden Promise malt, made by family-owned Simpsons Malt, Furious would just be pissed offed. From Scotland, this malt is still produced in the tradition of turning over the barley by hand, resulting in a malt that is unsurpassed in its quality. Golden Promise is also used extensively by premium whisky distilleries such as The Macallan. This malt provides the backbone for the intense hop character. Four American hop varieties are used at a rate of over three pounds per barrel. The result is a rich malt sweetness infused with bright hop flavor and aroma from beginning to end. Oh yeah, it's about 6% alcohol and around 100 IBUs.

CT7 Can shared by jsquire. Orange pour with a white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, caramel malt and light pine. Flavors of tropical fruit, citrus, pine and carmel malt holding it together. Medium bodied witha nice bittersweetness, bitter finish. Great stuff!

Medium golden unfiltered pour. Nice citrus and floral aroma. Very bitter taste but didn’t have the bitter bite. Very nice and crisp IPA. Would buy again.

On tap at Sheffields River Grove. Pours amber with white head. Aroma is hoppy with citrus and lots of caramel malt. Flavor is bitter hops, citrus, lot of caramel malt and some toffee. Finishes bitter with good mouthfeel and carbonation. Quite different than what I was expecting. WIth all the caramel and toffee flavors it seems like a hopped up brittish IPA. With all the malt it was still pretty bitter. Solid IPA.

There have been two great beers that have come out of a can. First is Gordon beer from Oskar Blue’s Brewery and then I think one of thee best IPA’s I have had in a while, FURIOUS! This IPA takes the cake! Wonderful amber color. Smell of citrus zest, pine, soap, caramel, hops, flowers, grapefruit, orange, apricots and some roasted malt. Taste of the same but the hops are more flavorful. What an exquisite IPA! What a nice long lasting bitterness flavor. I must get more. Hell, I will drive up there and get a case of it.

[Can] Pours amber with a good sized cream head. Leaves nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is strongly of citrus hops--pretty good. Taste is strongly of bitter grapefruit--definitely loaded with hops. FInish is quite long. Good mouthfeel. IPAs aren’t my favorite style, but this was well done and something I will drink again.

Can thanks to franksnbeans. Pours a deep amber color with a thick, light beige head that left good lacing. A lot darker than I was expecting. Hoppy aroma with lots of pine and a bit of citrus. Wow..great, balanced taste. Smooth entry leads into a nice caramel presence right before an explosion of piny, slightly citric hops. Leaves a nice bitter taste on the palate. Smooth and easy to drink. Awesome IPA. Thanks a ton Beans.

Had this multiple times over the weekend. Aroma of some real nice crisp hops nad rich maltiness. Really piney and earthy feel to this. Pretty solid, somehow I came back with a can of this.
