Commercial Description:
Cask, Occasional;
Hammer Mild - ABV 3.8% A traditional dark mild with a wonderful malt base and mouthfeel. There are some lovely delicate hop characters present to complement the malt flavour. Very different from our other beers...

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Reading Beer Festival.
Dark brown with no head. A lightish coloured mild. Lovely sweet fruity malt with slight coffee notes. Straight forward and very drinkable. This was beer of the festival at Reading, personally I think there were many better but it’s a decent mild no doubt.

Cask at Kingston BF, 28th June 2008, with renffisch. Dark mahogany brown and still, with a dark malt and wood smoke nose. Taste is similar and the soft mouthfeel is just what you expect. Classic mild.

Cask handpull at Reading BF 08. Very dark brown with beige head. Got some grainy choc/coffee aroma and flavours. Decent mild. Does what it should. Good coffee throughout.
