Pours amber with a fine, creamy offwhite head. Aroma is sweet, good maltiness, some distinct honey, rye and herbs. Rather creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has some viniousness and a bit of a metallic off-flavour. Otherwise there is plenty of sweetness, some good malt base with sweet herbal honey an top. Finishes nicely bitter. Skinnyviking (2590), Copenhagen, Denmark Mar 24, 2008 Bottle. Medium high but lasting off-white head. Hazy dark orange body. Good powerful malt aroma. Guess rye has been used in combination with the barley. Honey not especially distinct. Pretty hoppy although the beer is fruity and contains honey. Low carbonation and a long dry and bitter aftertaste. faroeviking (4124), Faroese Beer Republic union of, Denmark Sep 10, 2007 Bottle. Pours deep orange with a fair head. Sweey honey malty aroma. The flavour has honey indeed with a dry maltiness, bit yeasty and good hops. Quite sweet bitterish finish.
