Jul 21, 2008 Bottled. A pitch black beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt - lending it a slight acidity, but also with hints of smoke. The flavor is both has sweet and hard roasted malt notes - again the hard roasted malt lends it a slight acidity, while the alcohol tickles the tongue slightly, before a very dry and slightly roasted finish sets in.

Jul 28, 2008 Botella. Colour: Black with a big well settled brown creamy bubbly long lasting steady head. Aroma: Well roasted malt, good chocolate, slight smoke, dark fruits and bitter hops. Good filling mouthfeel. Flavour: Bit smoky with bitter hops, dark chocolate, dark fruits, alcohol and lots of roasted malt. Roasty well lasting finish. Great brew.

Pours almost black with a fine, lasting, creamy, beige head. Aroma is nicely roasted, light chocolate - weak coffee. Fine mouthfeel, pretty creamy. Flavour is lightly vinious, some liqourice, great chocolate. Extremely dry finish. Very nice one.

Jun 23, 2008 Bottle at ÅBF08. Good fruity and roasted aroma, slightly sweet. Very high bitterness, some of it from the barley, but still nice. The flavour is sweet and creamy. Roasted aftertaste and also quite fruity.

Fruity and light roasted aroma of liquorice with notes of yeast.
Roasted flavour of liquorice and hops with notes of yeast and coffee.
