500 ml bottle. Big fluffy espresso head. Near translucent, dark brown to near black body. Dry roasty aroma. Dark malts, cocoa, chocolate and dark dried fruits. Taste is dark, sweet chocolate, cocoa, a well prononced bitterness and lots of roast.
Near full-bodied, still easy drinking. Malty-bitter chocolate ending. Yum!

Aug 17, 2008 Bottle. Black with a large beige head. Smoke from roasted malt, chocolate, coffee- Nice, rounded body. Good balance. One of their better beers.

Aug 14, 2008 Bottle, thanks Egon. Some danky aroma. Yeasty and almost rubbery. Very much like a german Dunkel. Bitter-sweet taste. Very rounded and full with a hint of roasted sourness. Clean bitter finish.

Aug 13, 2008 Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, bitter chocolate and coffee. Notes of licorice as well.
