(500 ml bottle). Reddish brown colour, hazy (unfiltered). Very good thick head. Moderate malty aroma, notes of caramel. Flavour is malty and slightly spicy, not too sweet. Well balanced with a nice hoppy bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel is a bit watery though. Overall: Not bad this one.

Unfiltered brown beer with a slight bitter malty taste....no doubt one of the best Christmas beers in Denmark this year

The color is hazy brown, good looking unfiltered, mild sweet caramel malty aroma, the taste is also mild caramel like with a hint of hops, medium body, light sweet thin finish.

Dark reddish colour with great looking head. Aroma is malty with some sweetness from dark fruits. Flavor is not that sweet, finishes bitter.

Unlike many other reviewers here, I found this brew to be less than stellar. It is a nondescript dark beer with way too much bitterness for my taste. Re-rate: I actually liked it better the second time around (over two years later :) ). Added a few points here and there.

Thanks to BierKonig for this tasty brew. A rather hoppy dunkel, consumed with some delicious sushi and dumplings. Light in body and malt, so reminiscent of a schwarzbier, until the hops get a hold of you. Color of an amber ale. Quite enjoyable to sample some of Denmark’s finest microbrews.

Bottle. Classy stuff. A great Christmas brew. Raisiny, bready too start, slightly sticky. Dry finish. Very soft dry mouthfeel, salty, slightly yeasty, very well done, perfect balance, nice and soft and salty.
