50 cl. bottle. Julebryg 2007. Nice foam. Well balanced (and rather light) Christmas beer with a soft, caramel taste; well carbonized beer with a resistant hoppy conclusion. Actually a good beer - especially along with traditional Danish Christmas food: pork as well as herring with aquavitae.

Unpleasant protein taste and aftertaste. Needs to be stronger and darker. Drinkable but a little disappointing

Cloudy amber with reddish hue and small slightly tanned head. Fruit, caramel, malt and jammy. A touch of metal as well.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet caramel, slight yeasty spiced. Flavour is primarily caramel sweet but has some herbaland spiced yeast notes. There is a minor metallic note to the flavour. Ends soft caramel malty, slight warming and very pleasant. Great Christmas brew.

The head is brown, dense and bubbly with moderate lacing on the glass. Dark-brown body colour. Sweet aroma of caramel. Roasted caramel malts in flavour joined by ripe fruits. Dry aftertaste. Well bodied, but does not quite give me that xmas feeling (enjoyed with Finn, Tromsø 06.09.2007).

Unclean (even for an unfiltered beer). Caramel and some hops dominates the flavour. Slightly fruity and caramely flavour with a nice dry finish. Solid and wellbrewed beer.

Brown with a nice head and a malty aroma. The flavour is malty and sour with hints of roasted malt, light notes of fruit and bitterness. IMO the sour notes are too dominant. (Christmas 04)
