Bottle. (2006 vintage, maybe 2005) It pours a clear, copper body under a minimal beige head. Bready malts, caramel, a wee touch of coffee, a note of dried fruits and a starting oxidation in the aroma. Quite pleasant. Fruity flavor up front, soon assisted by bready and caramelly malts, a tiny touch of oxidation and dried fruits. Quite sweet, but not too sweet. It gives a little impression of spicyness towards the finish. Strange, but after a while, some alcohol warmth spreads on the palate. Quite effervescent. Sweet, caramel finish with a fine touch of bitterness. It bears the age quite well, and I’m no longer angry with myself for letting this one be forgotten in my cellar. The label is very nice and simpel. Pernille (518), Copenhagen, Denmark

Flavor is a bit on the sweet side, but it’s complex and definitely christmasy. End-feel is sticky. Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark

Very pretty, deep amber - close to mahogany actually. Fine but collapsing head. Very carbonated - too carbonated. Lovely malty body, dry with a hint of acidity. A bit more body and sweetness would be greatly appreciated. 311201
