Superb hazy burgundy, one of those rare beers that impresses you by the complexity of its color. Cherry and grape syrup surprise the smeller. Quite sweet aroma, caramelic, mightily coffeeish and roasty yet with a touch of floral hops in the background. Hard to figure out in mouth, what do I really feel about this beer? I love mystery, so I can only like the beer. It serves us a plate of bitterness in moderate amounts, roasty, woody and rooty almonds with buckwheatish mellow bready flavours that turn into sweeter marmalade before drying out completely. Very different from the aroma, a characteristic I sometimes enjoy greatly. Beautiful toastiness, dry and fruity. Airy body, not very carbonated, slight syrupy hints, but globally satisfying and balanced, procuring a nice warmth after drinking. I’m truly impressed by Danish microbreweries, hopefully many more of them spring out in the future.

Mild roast, toffee and cabbage in a fairly pleasing aroma. Deep amber-brown with a decent cover of tan head that recedes with some lacing. Bready malts, toffee, tobacco and a light hint of roastiness in the flavour with mild finishing bitterness. Thick, malty medium body with soft gentle carbonation leading to a dry finish. Bottle enjoyed with MartinT, Olivier_MTL and Rastacouere at Martin’s ’Bachelor Party’!

The Lure:
A fat, meaty roast continues to revolve and cook over the wet earth. DMS prone, but not repulsive at all, this is a quirky and stragithforward aroma which you can’t forget.

The Festivities:
A wealthy body for the style promotes roasted caramel and creamy fruits. Earth is sprinkled atop the ably blended flavors.

Transcendence:
Spiritual harmony is indeed necessary to a complete union.

Bottled. Very fruity aroma, raisin and light spices. Brown color, beige head, good lace. Light sweet, herbal, bitter and dried fruits, quite hoppy, medium body. Love it. Thanks Dalle.

[bottled] Dark golden brew with a nice head. Aroma is too malty - like the rest. Sweetness in flavor, with a hint of caramel, leaves a bitter palate.

Really hoppy, but it has the sweetness and depht to make it work. good balance between the burnt malt and the green notes from the hops. Well done!

Bottle. Cloudy red, with a shortly lasting head. I smell sugar and some chocolate. Sweet malty taste ending in nice bitterness. Ok mouthfeel.
