Jan 27, 2005 Another tasting of Christmas beer in january. But this one is not quite like other christmas beers, I have tastet so far. It has a lot stronger taste, hops and the burn malt is precente in the taste.
A special beer, that surprices you but also grows as you get further down the bottle.

Dark amber with off-white head. Aroma and flavor of brown sugar and rich of hops. Light sweet and bitter initial flavor, heavy bitter and long finish. Not a traditional Christmas beer. Not harmonic.

Jan 7, 2005 Bottle Dark amber colour with an off-white head. Sweet and round malty aroma with plenty of hops. Wood-like. Flavour has a nice, wellbalanced hoppy bitterness. Sweetish.

Dec 25, 2004 2004-edition. Reddish colour with a beige head. Spicy aroma with notes of liquorice and hops. Malty flavor with well balanced bitterness but unfortunately with notes of butter (infection).

Dec 20, 2004 This is not a christmas beer, it´s too hoppy, and not sweet, bus it is still a very good beer......
The Hopp is so powerfull, that it could scare beginners. The flavour is bitter and sour, but in a good way. The finish is powerfull and acetic. It is very carbonated and a beer with caracter, (maybee you won´t like it)

Dec 13, 2004 Very malty xmas beer. Traditional european beer, like the dark beers of germany and czech R. Bornholmer has a lot more taste than the usual dunkel.
