Light brown color, small tan head that faded quikly but left a small amount of lace behind.Malty sweet caramel aroma.Very nice flavor, malt and lots of caramel with a nice amount of carbonation to make it all come together and dance on the pallate and make you beg for more. The hops come through in a decent manner giving a mild bitterness at the end mixed with a mild sweetness.Fairly well balanced brew and more then worth getting if you can find it.By far one of the best Dunkel's i've ever had,and Thanks go to Love_Caissa for sending me this fine brew.

Wow... This is good stuff!! :-o The head is massive: a lasting tan foam. The beer isnt filtered so its cloudy with a dark amber color. Sweet flavor with hints of chokolate and malts. The taste surprises even more: not bitter oversweet as some awefull christmas beers (i mention no names but check some of my ratings from last year ;-) Taste is delicious! No other way to put it. Its well balanced and most important not too sweet. I love it. This beer was ranked best danish christmas beer among 23 beers by a danish newspaper this year.

Beautiful, unclear, amber color. Close to creamy head that lasts. Special malty aroma. Chocolate/malt/caramel in flavor.

Oarnge/brown,quite dark. Frothy, cream, head. Very malty aroma-caramel,dark bread, nuts. Soft, expansive, carbonation. Very creamy beer. Lots of chewy malt in the flavor. Lots of caramel, bread, nuts, and underlying yeast character. Slightly bitter. Finish is toasty, dry from generous amounts of hops. Long lingering malts in the finish, nuts and burnt caramel. Excellent beer,Thanks Mads!

Very, very pleasant dark reddish christmas beer. A lot of caramel notes. Nice strong head. A must for every beer fan!
