Commercial Description:

English: Secondary fermentation on gooseberries and red and black currants, giving it a nice wild yeast infection. Fruity, leathery and dry thirst quencher. ABV 5,2 %. “Jylkat” is a porcupine in the Bornholm dialect; whereas a run-over porcupine on the street becomes a “Jylsplat”.

Muddy orange with a small white head. Aroma of spicy yeast, with berries and a touch of caramel. Yeasty flavour with berries. A drying tannin-like finish, either from berries or yeast, I guess.

On tap. Pours a very cloudy opaque golden with basically no head. Lightly fruity nose with a distinct yeastiness. Medium body with tart fruits, distinct notes of wheat and fruit with an astringent, bitter finish. 250809

Draft. An unclear golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of wheat and strong notes of berries. The flavor has strong notes of berries and wheat, as well peaches, leading to a lightly dry finish.
