Bjarne (12), , Denmark Sep 27, 2008 Moderate malty with a little dark bread aroma. Top ppearance! Frothy, off-white head with a very nice amber colour. Little hazy cloudy look because of the unfiltered beer.
Light sweet and bitter flavor unfortunately short lasting. All-in-all a succesfull impression calling for repeating fill of the glass. TimE (1031), Tokyo, Japan Sep 17, 2008 Copper-brown color. Very malty brew of chocolate and cherries with a touch of oranges. Smooth, malty body and a nice lingering chocolate, nutty finish. Excellent example of the style. Enjoyable. Rune (1807), Tromsø, Norway Sep 7, 2008 500ml bottle (bb.31.08.08), available from Vinmonopolet. Slightly, off-white, airy foam resting for a while on top of a hazy, orange-red body. Aroma of mellow fruits. Yeast and ripe fruits in flavour with just a hint of caramel malt coming through. Medium bodied. Alright, but a bit disappointing (at home, 06.09.2008). Egon (309), Gothenburg, Sweden Aug 17, 2008 Bottle. Amber with white head. Another malty beer with low bitterness. The aftertaste has some dry bitterness to it though. ekstedt (1953), Göteborg, Sweden Aug 10, 2008 Bottle (50 cl), thanks Egon. Clear amber, medium off-white head. Grainy malt aroma with potaoe cellar notes and some dusty hops. Dry finish, moderate bitterness.
