Commercial Description:

Alluring deep-red appearance. Aromas of strawberry, cherry and fresh-laid cement. Begins with a nice, gritty texture but ends a little thin and watery, despite a minor chocolate finish. Medium bitterness. Quite refreshing and good flavour richness. Could use more depth on the back-end but overall an enjoyable experience.

500 ml bottle. Dark copper with reddish hues. Tall white fluffy head. Rich münchener malt aroma. Medium-bodied. Quite rich. Clean flavours with a litle malt sweetness. Neutral watery finish. Decent, but also a little boring.

Clear marhogny color with a good lasting offwhite head. Very fine lacing. Aroma: Malt, caramel, hops, hay, yeast. Taste: malt, caramel, balanced good by the hops. The first beer I had from Svaneke, and I still really like it.

Filtered amber, fine head. Malt, some alcohol. Some alcohol. A little hop, malt. Medium body, fizzy. Not bad, not good. Ok, but a little to intense for casual drink. Purchased in SuperBrugsen, Halmtorvet

Bottle@Home. Malty and toffee aroma. Copper colour, yellowish head, good lace. Sweet, light bitter, toffee, hoppy herbal finish. Medium body, warming finish. Like a light German Bock.

Amber, vibrant but no head. The aroma shows mainly caramelly malts, with more caramel on the palate, with a little roasty, charred bitterness. Not much body, this falls off the tongue pretty fast.

Bottle. Clear reddish body, with a small off-white head. Aroma is malt and brown sugar. Flavor is malt, caramel. But I also tasted iron!! Maybe I should try another Mørk Guld.
