Jul 1, 2007 It’s a brown/black stout with a huge, creamy head. The aroma is malty and roasted and the flavour is slightly sweet with notes of roasted malt, a bit o chocolate and hints of licorice. Actually it’s not bad, ordinary yes, but quite OK, I really need to taste the Svaneke Stout again, perhaps it has become better too!! 2353

Jun 9, 2007 Bottle. Pours a hazy dark brown almost black color with a tan head. Sweet roasted malty aroma with some chocolate hints. Sweet malty and slightly roasted flavor with hints of chocolate. Has a sweet roasted finish.

Mar 10, 2007 Bottle. Nice big tan head with good duraiton. Color is brown/black. Aroma is raost malt and some chocolate. Taste is dry and malty. Some chocolate and hints of coffee.

Feb 2, 2007 Bottle. Pitch black colour with a nice big creamy mostly lasting light brown head. Little lacing. Aroma of rich dark chocolate, roasted malts and bitter hops. Flavour of dark chocolate, well roasted malts, bitter hops, coffee, caremel. Dry bitter roasty finish. Nice bitter stout!
