Draft at the brewpub. Lots of sweentess, lots of banana. Almost bubble gum feeling from a fruity mouthful. A little orange in the finish. Not my type of beer, really.

(6/24/08) Draught at the brewpub in Prague. Cloudy yellow with a big bubbly white head. Aroma of wheat, fruity esters (some banana) and some clove notes. Sweetish flavor with some clove, lots of banana, some bubblegum and mild tartness towards the finish (and maybe a bit of bitterness). Medium-bodied. A nice Weizen.

(Draught at Klasterni Pivovar Strahov, Prague, 20 July 2008) Golden yellow colour, cloudy, with a frothy, white head. Citric nose with notes of lemon, banana, yellow plums and spicy hints of clove. Citric, wheaty taste with banana, citrus and hints of clove. Lovely balance with some sweetness. Clean, fresh and tasty hefeweizen.

Tap @ Klásterní Pivovar Strahov, Prague.
Pours deep, muddy yellow with an impressive, creamy, slightly off-white head. Super duration - it even stays after drinking from it. Bubbles are lazily caressing the sides of the glass, looking for the white foam above. Aroma is lovely banana, some green apple, lemons, coriander and wheat. Wonderful mouthfeel with high carbonation. Flavour is elegantly fruity without ever overdoing it. Banana dominates, but coriander and a strong, semi-dry bitterness equals everything out to almost perfection. Stunning.
