Pours deep black with a giant, creamy, cappucino head. Super duration. Aroma is sweet, chocolate, roasted malts and raisins. Medium carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is pleasant, well roasted, light raisin fruitiness and soft chocolate. Spicy and crisp hoppy finish. Very dark brown, off-white head.
Nutty, malty, a little coffee. Some burned toast in the finish. Nice stuff. oh6gdx (5195), Vaasa, Finland Jul 2, 2008 Draught. Very deep ruby red colour, big beige creamy/bubbly head. Lots of lace. Aroma is caramel malts, some toffee and mildly rubbery notes. Flavour is very roasted malts, some toffee, licorice and mild herbal notes. Longlasting roasted aftertaste.
