The beer is a nearly opaque dark brown color with a medium beige head that dissipates slowly. Small patches of lacing. Roasted malt aroma with notes of coffee and hops. Medium body with a roasty character and flavors of malt, coffee and dark chocolate. Light hops are present at times too. The finish is roasty with a lingering malty aftertaste.
