Pours deep nutty brown with a fine, lightly creamy off-white. Aroma has light toffee, good caramel, some roasted malts and light grassy hops. Impressive mouthfeel, very creamy for the relatively low alcohol. Flavour is lightly metallic at first, but gains in wonderful maltiness, good sweet and dark chocolate. Finish is medium roasted with a good hoppy presence. This is a wonderful dunkel.

Sep 14, 2008 (bottle) dark ruby colour, firm tanned head. aroma of roasted malts and herbal hops, with light notes of chocolate. flavour is mostly dark chocolate and roasted malts, light hints of coffee and hops. medium carbonation and body with a light roasted-bitter finish.

Jul 31, 2008 50cl bottle. Pours brown with a small white head. Caramel, toffee & bread. Slightly roasty. Medium bodied. Quaffable!

Jul 3, 2008 Bottled. Rubyish amber colour with mediumsized beige head. Aroma is mildly roasted malts, some slight chocolate as well as raisins. Flavour is quite much the same with underlying tones of mild fruityness and grassy hops.
