Commercial Description:
BALTAS beer (5.2% vol.) is not filtered, it has a distinctive and exceptional taste and is made of wheat malt. This is the first beer from ŠVYTURYS traditional collection. This collection is meant to introduce beer fans to the kinds of beer that are already forgotten in Lithuania. One outstanding feature of BALTAS beer is turbidity, so it is necessary to shake the bottle before opening and drink it only from special cooled glass. In order to relieve all delicacies of this beer - it may be flavoured with a piece of fresh lemon. It is designed for those beer fans who admire special features of taste and aroma. BALTAS beer is sold in 0.5 litre bottles.

Nice hazy, yellow color. Thin to no head. Flavor is a bit on the sour side, with a bitter finish to it. Some spice, banana, citrus flavors mingled together. Not nearly up to the standards of a German hefeweizen, but not a bad wheat beer. I’d try another.

..had this a few years back. It poured a murky light orange, with lots of sediment, and a white puffy that held nicely with lacing. The nose I remember was different than normal wheat beers, had some distinct notes. Flavors were very wheaty, with lemon and citrus notes. Creamy from what I remember, and went down well. I will definitely have to look for this again, I thought it was interesting and good, hmm, A lithuanian wheatbeer. Worth a try.

This is an unexpectedly delightful conconction. Pours a cloudy peach color with a full head. Olfactory senses are tickled by an effervescent yeastiness with crisp, clean phenolics and a tart wheatiness. Zesty and refreshing. The flavor is a full, tart wheatiness with light banana phenolic undertones. This brew seems to emerge in some penumbra shareds by a German Wheat, Belgian Witt, and Berliner Weisse, as it masterfully. seems to straddle all three style. Refreshing, satisfying, and delicious.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma has that clove and banana thing going on which is a good thing. Flavor is some banana and clove but not as strong as the aroma. After the swallow some wheat hits the tounge but kind watery in the end. Still, this is not as bad as some ratings on here. There are more than enough positive things going on with this beer to make it to the decent category.

500 ml bottle. Pours a hazy yellow in color with a big pure white head, rapidly disapating. Aroma is a bit on the sour side, lightly citrus, somewhat astringent. Flavor is a bit mild and flat, some citrus notes, yeasty bread, and somewhat of a sour cherry finish.

Dirty golden hazy liquid, with a giant white head, aroma of banana and lemon - quite nice and peppery, flavor is flat with some banana malt and some lemon and the end, finish is spicy and pleasant. Good hefeweizen

Pours hazy golden with a big white head. Aromas are light but of banana and wheat. Flavor is light with hints of banana and spice coming through. Not bad.
