50cl bottle. Clear deep copper, creamy off white head. Sweet artificial vanilla on the nose, little alcohol, plastic, sugar, reminds of some cream ale. Flavor is solventy alcohol, stodgy syrupy malts, very rusty and dull finish, modest bitterness, no aroma hopping. Almost medium bodied, strong but soft carbonaton. Sadly reminds me of Sofiero Original Ale somehow, just stronger. Malt liquor for the oktoberfest-season.

Kind of sweet with some slight bitters in the end. Very short finish. Kind of forgettable. It’s not bad, not in the least. If it’s there, it’s OK. I might even get it again. It was at Whole Foods and rather cheap. Especially if I want one beer with a sandwich for dinner--this will do. Didn’t taste like it had that many malts to me. Mostly just sweet, with sugar and candy flavors.

Pours red with a foamy head the nose is malts and sugars. The taste is nectar like and has sweet bite, the after taste settles back on the palate and stays for a long time.

16.9oz bottle 10/1/09 (Sam’s Wine & Spirits)-Pours a medium amber with a big off white head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, and toffee. Taste of the same with some more sweetness and caramel coming through. This medium bodied brew is quite tasty and is a big surprise. I was expecting much worse. Nice job.

From bottle 50cl., Amber color with giant beige head, aroma of malt liqour with some hay, herbs and pepper, flavor is mainly sweet with some toasted bread, herbs and some mashroomy of flavors, finish is bitter, medium body, seems more like a european strong lager.

Bottle, 5.8% as Baltijos Dark Red. Clear light brown colour. Very small tan head. The flavour is caramelly in OK balance with the alcohol. A little sweetness and something that reminds me of anise in the finish. Mild carbonation, OK mouthfeel.

thick orange color (i held it up to the sun, but could not see the sun through the body), light biege head, small lace. nose is sweet sweet malt, trace of chocolate. sweet sweet malt flavor, hint of chocolatey smoothness...overpowering, desperately sweet. medium bodied, sweet finish. hard to swallow. this brewer should try for something besides super sweet brews. 500ml single bottle purchase from binny’s orland park.
