Commercial Description:
ŠVYTURYS is proud to bridge the connection between Lithuania’s love for a light beer and the perfect balance between lightness and taste. Today, the beer culture in Lithuania is shifting towards high quality light beer. This is why we have created ŠVYTURYS PREMIUM PILS, a beer especially for consumers who appreciate taste, quality, and lightness. With ŠVYTURYS PREMIUM PILS, get ready for a new light beer experience. It has a light taste, golden colour, and is only 3.9% alcohol by volume. PREMIUM PILS (excluding ŠVYTURIO NEALKOHOLINIS) is the lightest beer produced by ŠVYTURYS. Light, smooth, and refreshing ŠVYTURYS PREMIUM PILS is the perfect blend of lightness and rich taste. With a mild flavour and the slightly bitter aroma of hops, it is a refreshing beer that is extraordinarily easy to drink. This exceptional combination of rich taste and light freshness is obtained using a unique beer production technology known as ‘krausening’. In this procedure, mature beer is gradually mixed with young, 3-day-old beer, and then its taste is balanced during the final maturing stages. ŠVYTURYS is the only leading Lithuanian brewery with cold cellars. And such a beer production process as this is only possible in breweries that still have naturally cold cellars with additionally installed containers. Longer storage times in cellars add a deepness, clearness, and mildness to the taste of the beer making it easier and more pleasant to enjoy. A double storage period makes the beer absolutely clear, mature, and its flavour becomes more distinct. The carbon dioxide, which dissolves in the beer naturally, later gives it a thick, long-lasting head. ŠVYTURYS PREMIUM PILS is a wonderful light beer experience. Experience ŠVYTURYS PREMIUM PILS, a beer that gives you the pleasure to indulge in real beer without losing the sense of freshness.

Pours straw yellow with a muted aroma abut nice thick head. Taste is of an eastern european pilsner, very clean, crisp with a slight bitey aftertaste at the end. Decent but i liked the oktoberfest, baltos, much better.

Gold with half-inch white foam. Sweet grain aroma. Slightly floral, grassy. Soft effervescence. Balanced flavors. Sweet grain is nicely accented with hop bitterness that finishes really nicely. Good with pizza.

Bottle. Clear pale golden color with an avarage bubbly white head. Aroma has some grassy hops and a bit of malt. Sweetish flavor, slightly bready, with some grainy notes, proceeds to a a mildly bitter finish with some metallic hints. Body is quite light. Not a good Pilsener but nothing offensive really.

Straw colour. Slight haze. Really grainy, slightly grassy nose. Grassy hop on the palate. Surprisingly lean and dry, like a real pilsner. Slight bitterness.

0.5L bottle, clear pale yellow colour, small stable head, hoppy nose, with traces of malt, bitter taste acompanied by notes of honeycomb and biscuit, and traces of fruitiness. The palate is extremly dry, some lingering unpleasant dryness in the throat. Not bad at all.
