Commercial Description:
A traditional German-Style Kolsch Ale that is light in both color and body. German Tettnang hops lend themselves to a soft and balanced aroma, while German wheat adds to the flavor. This crisp, light ale is perfect for all beer drinkers.

interesting flavor, had a faint sweet hint of hops, and seemed to have a little of a sweet candy taste to it as well, light and refreshing.

Draft at Bubes. Pours hazy honey gold with very small whitish head. The aroma is honey, some melon, and malt. The flavor is very carbonic with lots of hay and some cardboard. Some sugary sweetness comes out in the finish and leaves a weird floral aftertaste. As it warms, it takes on a graininess reminiscent of Indian corn. Unimpressive.

Enjoyed at the PA. Renaissance fair. Thin white head, short lived. Clear pale gold color with a faint orange glow. Nose is subdued bready malts and citrus. Light bodied, thin. Light maltyness, light grassy notes and maybe a hint of citrus. Dry, quick finish. It is what it is!

On tap PA RenFaire: Amber in color. Zero in the way of a head, aroma, or hel flavor. Some malty notes but that’s about it.

Draft at PA Ren. Fair. Poured dark straw with a nice honey malty aroma, plus citrus and hops. The palate was on the light side, but it was great on a hot summer day. More hops as it warmed, with a solid honey malt base. Fairly complex and very refreshing.

On tap at the PA Renaissance Faire. Served in a platic cup. Poured an amber color with a very small sized head. Aromas and tastes of light caramel and also had a light floral aspect to it. Thinner body.
