Bottle pours clear copper with thin white head. Aroma is citrus and malt. First taste is sweet with not much hops balance. Clean finish. Not what you expect from a pale ale. Good flagship beer.

Bottle. Pours a light clear amber caramel color, with a fizzy white head, and fastl dissipating lacing. Some bright hops in the nose, citrus, hay, and a definite malt presence. Soft malty body, bread and biscuit, floral hop finish. Crisp and refreshing, drinkable and easy to down.

bottle and draft; aroma is of carmel malt and lots of citrus hops. pours amber with very little head. taste is not what you would expect from an american pale ale. very one dimensional, sweet malt and citrus hops. almost like a toned down IPA rather than an american pale ale.

On tap @ Brixx Pizza, Greenville, SC. Decent enough pale ale. Easy drinker, but very restrained, nearly ordinary. Lawnmower beer.

Deep amber pour with a nice white head that clings to the glass. Nice hoppy nose. Fairly heavy bodied for a pale ale. A nice crisp hop finish but not that much going on elsewhere. Good beer but when the same money gets you SN’s Pale Ale... 7,4,6,3,12:3.2 Re-rate: Sampled at the 12th Annual Knoxville Brewer’s Jam. Light golden color with a thin white head. Small bubbles settle to a cover. Biting hops and pale malt aroma. Citric and piney hops develop a great APA with a smooth body and a citrus hops finish.

Clear amber with no head. Smell is light and doughy dusty sweet. Thin, watery, almost tart flavor. Bland and not really that hoppy at all. Medium carbonation. Just no real flavor or smell. Quite ho hum for me.
